Agencies Tab
Agencies refer to third-party providers that book reservations on your behalf and takes either a partial or a full payment from its customers. Rental Car Manager provides you with the ability to track the amounts that are due to your agent.

Maintaining Agencies
Agencies are defined under the Agencies tab on the Agencies submenu in System Setup.

To Add an Agency Record
1. Click System Setup.
2. Click Agencies.
3. On the Agencies page, click Add an Agency (see Fig 336).

A. Enter the name of the agency.
B. Enter the assigned code for the agency.
C. Select either Percentage or Dollar as the commission type.
D. Enter the commission value, which depends on your choice of commission type. If commission type is set to Percentage, the commission value is pegged as a percentage of the booking fee. If commission type is set to Dollar, the commission value is the actual dollar value set on this field.
The other fields are optional.

5. Click Submit to save the record (see Fig 338).

To Edit an Agency's Record
1. Click System Setup.
2. Click Agencies.
3. On the Agencies table, under the Agency Code column, click the record (highlighted in red) to be edited (see Fig. 339).

4. To edit the record, follow steps 4 and 5 in To Add an Agency Record.

To Delete an Agency's Record
1. Click System Setup.
2. Click Agencies.
3. On the Agencies Records table, click Delete under the rightmost column (see Fig. 340).

4. Click Yes on the confirmation message to delete the record (see Fig. 341).

On the Agencies table, you'll no longer see the record you just deleted.
