Manual Service Report Tab

 

The Manual Service Report provides you with a list of manual services that have been entered for your vehicles. From the Manual Service Report, you can view, update, or delete the manual service record attached to a vehicle.

Generating a Manual Service Report

 

A manual service report can be printed under the Manual Service Report tab on the Service Reports submenu in Vehicle Maintenance (see Fig. 144).

To Generate the Manual Service Report by Current Date

 

By default, vehicles that are being or were manually serviced on the current date are displayed on the Manual Service Report page (see Fig. 145). 

 

If there are no records displayed on the Manual Service Report, this means that you do not have any vehicles scheduled for manual service on the current date.

You can A) view, B) update, or C) delete the manual service record attached to a vehicle from the Manual Service Report (see Fig. 146).

To View the Details of a Manual Service Record

 

On the Manual Service Report, look for the vehicle and the manual service you want to view, then click View (the button marked as A in Fig. 146) to display the details of the manual service in a separate browser window (see Fig. 147).

To Edit a Manual Service Record

 

There may be times when you need to edit a manual service. You can do this from the Manual Service Report by following the steps below:

 

1. Click Update (the button marked as B in Fig. 146) to display the Update Service Record page in a separate browser window (see Fig. 148).

2. Make the required changes to the record.

 

3.  Click Update to save your changes (see Fig. 149).

3. To close the browser window, click Close.

To Delete a Manual Service Record

 

1. Click Delete (the button marked as C in Fig. 146).

 

2. Click Yes on the confirmation message to delete the record (see Fig. 150).

On the Manual Service Report page, you'll no longer see the record you just deleted.

To Generate a Manual Service Report for a Range of Dates

 

If you don't see a manual service record when you click the Manual Service Report tab, this means that you do not have any vehicles scheduled for manual service on the current date. 

 

However, you can still view the manual service records for a given rate of dates by following the steps below:

 

1. Click Vehicle Maintenance.

 

2. Click Service Reports.

 

3. On the Manual Service Report Page (see Fig. 151):

 

A. Select a location.

 

B. Select a date range for the report.

 

C. Select a vendor.

 

D. To generate a report on the manual services that have been performed for a single vehicle, enter either the vehicle's fleet or registration number.

 

E. Order the report by either Date Completed or Service Type.

4. Click View to display the list of vehicles for which manual services were performed during the defined date range (see Fig. 152).

Summary

This article details the Manual Service Report tab, where information on manual services that have been entered for your vehicles is set up. Like other maintenance screens in RCM, the Manual Service Report screen allows you to add, edit, or delete Manual Service Report records.
