Add Infringement Tab

The Add Infringement tab allows you to add traffic infringement records. However, before you can add an infringement record you need to set up your infringement authorities and witness list first.

Add an infringement record

1. Open the Reservations menu.


2. Click "Infringement Processing".


3. Click on the "Add Infringement" tab. 


4. From the Add Infringement screen enter the registration of the vehicle and the date of the infringement or enter the booking customer's surname to view a list of bookings that match the criteria (see Fig. 1).

5. From the search results look for the booking that matches the infringement, then click "Select" (see Fig. 2).

6. On the Statutory Declaration page (see Fig. 3), fill out the required details. See Statutory Declaration fields for more info on each of the fields on the Statutory Declaration page.

7. Click "Submit" to add the infringement record to the database.

Statutory Declaration fields


NameRequired (Yes/ No)Description
Owned byYesThe company (brand) that owns the vehicle and/ or the booking.
Infringement AuthorityYesThe authority who issued the infringement.
Location of Infringement NoThe location where the infringement occurred, the locations displayed are setup on the Toll Locations page.
Type of Infringement No The type of infringement, for example speeding, parking fine etc.
Infringement NoYesThe identifying number for the infringement, this will be provided by the infringement authority with the infringement notice.
Date of Offence YesThe date and time that the infringement occurred.  
Obligation No. NoAn alternative identifying number to the Infringement No. 
Declared By YesThe operator/ user who added the infringement to your RCM system.
Declaration Date Yes The date the infringement was added to your RCM system.  
Witness NoThe statutory declaration witness, witnesses can be added from the Witness List page.  
Customer Letter Notes NoAdditional notes to include in the infringement notice letter when sent to the customer. You can either print the document and give it to the customer or email it to them
Internal Notes NoAdditional notes to add to the infringement record within your RCM system, only your operators will be able to view these notes.
