Sales By Category Report
The Sales By Category Report displays
sales figures by vehicle category over a selected date range.

Generate a Sales By Category
Report
1. Open the Sales By Category Report page (Reports > Hireage and Sales Reports > Sales By Category Report), see Fig. 1.

2. On the Sales By Category Report page
(see Fig. 2):
A. Select either a location or region. If
you have selected a region the selected location will be disregarded.
B. Select a brand, if a brand is selected only bookings made under that brand will be displayed.
C. Select a booking status. By default, booking status is set to
Hired (include Returned). This means that all reservations with a Hired or Returned status will be included in the report.
NOTE: For more details on booking
statuses, see the Reservations User Manual.
D. Select what the date range applies to (date entered, drop off date or pick up date).
E. Set the date range to view bookings for.

3. Click "View" to generate a report ordered by
category (see Fig. 3).

NOTE: For more details on vehicle

Once you generate the report, you can export it as a PDF, an Excel document or display a print friendly version of the report. You can also drill down into the details of the
bookings for that vehicle category by clicking the category name.
NOTE: Table 1 shows descriptions of each column found
in the Sales By Category Report.

Print a Sales By Category
Report
1. Generate a Sales By Category Report
(see Generate a Sales By Category
Report).
2. After generating the report, click the printer icon to display a printer-friendly version of the report (see Fig. 4).

3. Print the report using your browser's built in print feature.

Export a Sales By Category Report
1. Generate a Sales By Category Report
(see Generate a Sales By Category
Report).
2. After generating the report, click the Excel button to export the report as an Excel spreadsheet. The report can also be exported as a PDF document by clicking the PDF button (see Fig. 5).

Drill Down into the Sales Per
Vehicle Category
1. Generate a Sales By Category Report
(see Generate a Sales By Category
Report).
2. Click the name of the vehicle category
(highlighted in red) to view the details of the bookings for that vehicle
category (see Fig. 6).
