Sales By Location Report
The Sales by Location Report displays
sales figures by booking source over a selected date range.

To Generate a Sales by Location
Report
1. On the Reports menu, click the Hireage
and Sales Reports tab.
2. Click Sales by Location Report (see
Fig. 294).

3. On the Sales by Location Report Page
(see Fig. 295):
A. Select either a location or region. By
default, location is set to your default location. When generating a report, if
you have selected a region, Rental Car Manager will disregard the
location.
B. By default, booking status is set to
Hired (include Returned). This means that all reservations with status = Hired
and status = Returned will be included in the report. You may change the booking
status, if needed.
NOTE: For more details on booking
statuses, see the Reservations User Manual.
C. Pickup date range is set to the current
system date. You may change the date range, if needed.

4. Click View to generate a report ordered by
location (see
Fig. 296).

Once you generate the report, you can
print it and export it to Excel. You can also drill down into the details of the
bookings for that vehicle category.
NOTE: Table 64 shows descriptions of each column found
on the Sales by Location Report.

To Print a Sales by Location
Report
1. Generate a Sales by Location report
(see To Generate a Sales by Location Report).
2. After generating the report, click
Print to display a printer-friendly version of the report in a separate browser
window (see Fig. 297).

3. Print the report using your browser's
Print feature.

To Export a Sales by Location Report to
Excel
1. Generate a Sales by Location report
(see To Generate a Sales by Location Report).
2. After generating the report, click
Excel.
3. You will be asked to either open or
save the Excel file (see Fig. 298). To open the file in MS Excel, click
Open. To save the file to your local drive, click Save.

4. If you choose to open the file in Excel
in Step 3, you can save the file by using Excel's Save As feature. If you choose
to save the file to your local drive, navigate to the location on your local
drive where you save the file and click the file to open it in Excel. Fig. 299 shows a sample Sales by Location report
exported to Excel.

NOTE: Depending on the browser you are
using to access Rental Car Manager, you may be prevented from opening an Excel
file from the Internet on your computer. To resolve this problem, see the FAQ
section on the Rental Car Manager Help Center.
