Web Insurance tab
Insurance fees reduce the liability of the
customer or driver in the event of an accident. Insurance fees are
sometimes referred to as collision damage waivers (CDW) or excess reduction
fees and are normally charged on a daily basis to reduce the insurance
excess payable.
Insurance fees are defined
under the Insurance Fees tab in the Extra Fees section of System Setup. To setup Insurance Fees see the Insurance Fees help article. You
can specify which insurance fees to display on your website from the Web
Insurance tab in Web Extra Fees.

View Web Insurance Fees for a pickup
location
Navigate to the Web Insurance tab (Web Site Interface > Web Extra Fees > Web Insurance) (see Fig. 1).

To view all existing web insurance fees
for a particular pickup location select the location and click "View" (see Fig. 2).

Edit Web Insurance Fee
records
To edit a Web Insurance Fee click the highlighted description of the record you want to edit (see Fig. 3).

This will open the Update Web Extra Fee page where you can edit the Web Insurance Fee (see Fig. 4).

A. Select whether this record will be available on your website.
B. Write a description for the insurance fee.
C. Write web descriptions that describe the fee on your website.
Once any necessary changes have been made click "Submit" to save the updated record.
